Important information

Will we skip the entry lines?

We have a pre-reserved entry reservation at a specific time. This allows us to avoid the lines for the tickets. Please note that there are tight security procedures in place at the Eiffel Tower, and there will be some waiting as we go through these. The staff of the tower manage the reserved entrances and we have to comply with their instructions.

Will we skip the lines to the summit?

There is no skip-the-line access to the summit of the Eiffel Tower. There is only one elevator, and everyone needs to wait in line there. The main elevators will take you to the second floor, where we all need to exit and change to the single elevator that goes to the summit. Your guide is there of course to ensure that you get to the top as quickly and easily as possible.

Are there any special security restrictions?

You will need to go through an airport-type scanner. Bottles, large bags, knives, and flags are not allowed. Please check the official website of the Eiffel Tower for the full list of prohibited items if you have any doubts.

Can I stay on the tower after the tour?

You can remain on the tower after your tour. However please be aware that once you have come down from the summit to the second floor you are not able to go back up to the summit again.

Does the tower close in bad weather?

In cases of high winds, storms, or thick fog the Eiffel Tower may close the summit. If this happens you will automatically be refunded the difference in cost between a second-floor and summit access. Your guide will ensure that you get the full guided part of the tour and will point out all the Parisian landmarks from the second-floor viewing platform. If the tower closes completely and the tour is unable to go ahead due to their decision to close, you will receive a full refund. Please note that if the tower is open, our tours go ahead in all weather.
